Join Princeton Public Library as we sponsor our first Annual Chess Tournament (membership to the US Chess Federation is NOT required). This event will be overseen by 2021 WV Chess Association's Junior State Champion, Noah Stafford, Keith Lilly, sponsor of the Beckley Area Chess Club, and David Hundley, former Vice President of the WV Chess Association and current Beckley Area Chess Club Tournament Director. This event is open to all ages and skill levels within two categories - junior (grade 6 and below) and adult (grade 7 to adult). First, Second, and Third place winners will receive awards. This event will be held at Princeton City Hall, 800 Bee Street. Participants are asked to arrive at 9am with the tournament beginning at 10am.
