Established in 1914, the Princeton Public Library has been proudly serving the people of Princeton and beyond from our Mercer Street location (formerly the Princeton Post Office) since 2010. The library is one of many jewels in our city, and they invite you to take advantage of all the library has to offer! The Princeton Public Library is a public service institution that serves as the information center for the community. The Library not only responds to, but also seeks to anticipate the informational, educational, and cultural interests and needs of Princeton and the surrounding areas. Princeton Public Library is a community resource center that enriches the lives of everyone.

Holler: contemporary appalachian art gallery

900 Mercer Street

Holler showcases the work of contemporary Appalachian artists. Founded by native and world-traveled artist Chase Bowman, the gallery features shows and a large art studio in the back features a variety of workshops, classes and special events.

Award winning photographer Steve Jessee gives a variety of photography workshops at his studio. He also runs Princeton Camera Club and guides regular photos hikes and excursions.
